The Bowman County FFA members competed in the FFA District Leadership Contest on October 1, 2019, at Dickinson State University campus at the Beisot Activity Center along with ten other schools from Southwestern North Dakota. Grant County FFA was the host chapter for the day.

The Parliamentary Procedure team received a Gold award and took 3rd place. The team had to complete opening and closing FFA ceremonies and perform two problem sets consisting of 10 parliamentary procedures in less than ten minutes and thirty seconds.
The Bowman County FFA officer team is advised by Mrs. Mary Fischer. The Parliamentary Procedure team consist of President: Mitch Stuber, Vice President: Amy Jeffers, Sentinel: Kevin Fischer, Reporter: Ben Knopp, Treasurer: Harley Lardy, Secretary: Shayna Pond, Parliamentarian: Katelyn Griggs, Historian: Brendon Rasmussan and Student Advisor: Cheyenne Dodge.

Greenhand Parlimentary Producedure consisting of President: Sam Andrews, Vice President: McKaylee Kalstrom, Sentinel: Timber Hauso, Reporter: Kaylee Kinsey, Secretary: Caleb Sarsland, Treasurer: Grant Kees, Parliamentarian: Ashton Battest, Historian Zach Doll, and Student Advisor: Paysha Rex placed Gold 1st place.
