The North Dakota School Business Manager Certification Program is pleased to announce that Debra M. Bucholz has earned certification after successfully completing 61 credit hours of rigorous coursework. Bucholz completed certification with mastery, the program’s highest designation. A completion ceremony was held in Bismarck on May 10, 2019.
“I appreciate the support of my family, the school district and the school board,” Bucholz said. “The program is very beneficial and will help me long- term in my role as Business Manager of the Bowman County School District.”
Established in 2013, the North Dakota School Business Manager Certification Program provides business managers practical education and training to help them successfully perform their responsibilities under state law. Courses are taught by superintendents and state officials who are experts in their respective fields. The program is administered by the North Dakota School Boards Association in partnership with the North Dakota Association of School Business Managers. It was started with the assistance of a state legislative grant.
Bucholz currently serves has the business manager for the Bowman County School District.
