Carol Voegele, 75, of Bowman went to Heaven on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the West River Medical Center in Hettinger.
Funeral Services for Carol will be on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowman Lutheran Church. Pastor Renee Johnson will officiate with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery. There will be a Family and Friends Service on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bowman Lutheran Church. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 12-6 at the Krebsbach Funeral Home Chapel and from 7-9 at the Bowman Lutheran Church.
Carol Jordan was born in rural Mott, ND, the 3rd of 13 children to John and Ann (Miller) Jordan on July 31, 1943. She attended a 1 room school for the first 8 grades and then graduated from Mott Hincoln High School in May of 1961. She attended the National School of Business in Rapid City, SD, where she completed the Senior Secretarial Courses. While attending the school of Business, she went to work part time at the Bean Bag Food Market. This is where she met her future husband Chris. Carol and Chris were united in marriage at the St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Mott on November 17, 1962. To this union three children were born; daughters Denise and Sherry and son Corey. She worked in a newspaper office and several finance companies in Williston and Rapid City. After moving to Bowman in 1974 she worked for the IH Implement dealer and also John Deere retiring in May of 2011. Carol and Chris spent many years baking, candy making and canning jellies and salsa and attended many craft shows to sell their goodies. Her hobbies included making quilts, doilies and many other sewing projects. Her three children have many quilts that were hand quilted. For graduation and weddings for each of her grandchildren, they received a homemade quilt.
Carol is survived by her husband Chris of 56 plus years, daughters; Denise (Wayne) Wegner of Bowman, ND, Sherry Mollman (Mike Rohrich) of Bismarck, and son Corey (Wendy) Voegele of Henderson, NV, grandchildren; John (Alyssa) Wegner of Bowman, Travis (Eve) Mollman of Hebron and Logan Mollman of Bismarck, Jillene (Cory) Wall of Lakota, ND and Lisa (Matt) Koppinger of Bowman, great-grandchildren, Karsyn, Kimber, Jersey, Mia, Jaxon, Stevie and Mason, brothers; Russell (Marian) Jordan and Ernie (Carol) Jordan both from Mott, sisters Delores (Stanley) Hughes of Hillsboro, ILL, Mary (Larry) Messer of Mott, Roberta Myhra of Fargo, Ann (Todd) Bortke of Bismarck and Elaine (Russ) Mather of Bismarck and sisters-in-law Maggie, Betty and Gloria and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Lawrence, Gary, Marvin and Wayne, sister Jeanette (Earl) Strehlow and nephew Mike Hughes.
