New this year was a video presentation on the BCDC’s work in 2018. A special highlight of this video was interviews with new businesses assisted by the BCDC in 2018. These included Caitlyn and Weston Hafner owners of Dakota Dental Center, Kara Benischek owner of K-Artistry Salon & Spa, TJ Honeyman owner of Next Door Pizza, and Justin Benischek owner of Premiere Core Training & Gym. Also in the video were interviews with the office and the BCDC Board of Directors.

Wrapping up the evening was Keynote Patrick Bertagnolli, VP of Human Resources (HR) at MBI Energy Services, who shared his progressive approach to HR and the many opportunities available to people. Bertagnolli believes that North Dakota is at its best when people and organizations accentuate “North Dakota Nice” and focus on mentoring and giving back.

BCDC works hard to ensure they are giving back to their community. From creating business opportunities to personal development options, they believe in making Bowman County a better place for today and tomorrow. Along with their video showcase was a 2018 Annual Report that highlighted economic development, tourism, and business in the area. Annual Reports are available at BCDC’s office.
