Curt Maychrzak, 58, of Bowman, ND, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Southwest Healthcare Hospital in Bowman.

Mass of Christian burial for Curt will be in Friday,  October 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the St Charles Catholic Church in Bowman.  Fr. Zins will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the Bowman Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 9-9 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.

Curtis was born on May 23, 1960, the first of five children to James Maychrzak and Darlene (Volk) Maychrzak in Bowman, ND. Curtis grew up in Bowman, ND and attended school in Bowman, ND, graduating in May of 1978.

Curtis began working at Old Reliable Tractor in 1975 as a part time employee and loved working there. He was offered and accepted a full-time position upon graduation in 1978. He continued working there until 1987.

Curtis married Kimberly Caron on October 29, 1981 at St. Charles Catholic church in Bowman, ND. From this union two children were born. Sheldon arrived on October 1, 1994 and Vanessa arrived on September 11, 2003. Curtis was so proud to add children to the marriage and often said his three favorite days were the day he got married and the days his children were born.

In the Spring of 1988, Curtis and his father, James decided to start Jim’s Repair in Bowman, ND and he continued to work there with his father and his son, Sheldon until the time of his death.

Curtis was a hard-working man who loved his cattle and took pride in watching his wheat and corn grow. His greatest love was his family, he was so proud of his children and always took the time to teach them whatever he could. Curtis was a loving, patient and kind husband and father.

Curtis was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Maychrzak and his grandparents, John and Lydia Maychrzak and John and Genevive Volk.

Curtis is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kimberly, daughter Vanessa, son Sheldon (Kortnee Johnson and her children; Brylee and Kayzlee), father James Maychrzak, sister Connie (Keith) Rekow, brother Cletus Maychrzak, sister Cathy Maychrzak, brother Clifford (Lana) Maychrzak and numerous nieces and nephews.
