ABATE Easter Egg hunt

American Bikers for Awareness, Training, and Education (ABATE) will sponsor its 12th annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. April 4 at the Butte View Campground in Bowman. The weather forecast by the National Weather Service in Bismarck is calling for mostly sunny conditions with a high of 58 degrees. Over 7,200 plastic Easter eggs were filled last month and ready for the large crowds of children, ages one to 10, to pick them. Once the search is complete, children will be picked for special prizes.
Fling Thing
The second annual Fling Thing will be held beginning at 10 a.m., to 3 p.m., April 4.
“Many people (last year) went out and attended the Easter Egg Hunt and then stopped at the fair grounds to check out the vendors,” said Cathy Hedge, who is in charge of organizing the event.
About a dozen vendors will be featured inside the Four Seasons Pavillion’s west wing this year, selling products ranging from jewelry, hair, nail and skin care, home décor, and much more. Krugers Kitchen will also be serving lunch.
“(We’re) hoping to grow more every year,” Hedge said.
