Dakota Western Bank awards scholarships

Beginning with the current year, Dakota Western Bank plans to award $2,500 in scholarships to area high school graduates each year.

Beginning with the current year, Dakota Western Bank plans to award $2,500 in scholarships to area high school graduates each year. A graduating senior from five area high schools will receive a $500 DWB scholarship. Dylan Teske, a 2012 graduate of Scranton High School, was a DWB scholarship recipient this year. He plans to attend the University of North Dakota to pursue a degree in Biology.

Other DWB scholarship winners were Jessica Johnson of Bison High School, Miranda Martian of Harding County High School, and Paige Gravning of Hettinger High School. The Dollars for Scholars program at Bowman County High School received the $500 award for BCHS this year.

Dakota Western Bank is based in Bowman and has branches in Hettinger, Scranton, and Rhame.
