CLEO SABE

Cleo R (Jorgenson) Sabe, of Bowman, ND, died on December 13, 2012 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND.

Funeral services for Cleo were Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Bowman Lutheran Church.

Pastor Mary Peterson officiated and burial was to be held at a later date in the Mamre Cemetery, rural Gascoyne, ND. There was a family and friends service on Sunday evening at the Krebsbach Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel.

Cleo Raye Jorgenson was born on September 15, 1938, in rural Bowman County, the daughter of Harold and Selma (Myhre) Jorgenson.

She was raised on the family farm west of Bowman and was baptized at the Bowman Lutheran Church. She attended school through the eighth grade at Hart Township, rural Bowman County. She then attended high school in Bowman where she graduated with honors in 1955, as a Salutitorian at the age of 16. After high school, Cleo went on to nursing school. She received her RN from Holy Rosary in Miles City, MT, in 1958. After graduation Cleo returned to Bowman. On June 5, 1959 she was united in marriage to Keith Sabe, at the Bowman Lutheran Church. After their marriage Keith and Cleo made their home in Bowman area until moving to southeastern ND in 1962. Then in 1971, they moved to Riverton, WY, where Cleo was employed by Riverton Hospital. In 2003, due to failing health, Keith and Cleo moved back to Bowman where they have since made their home. Cleo was a Registered Nurse for 48 years before retiring in 2006.

Cleo enjoyed many things in life. She had a passion for her family and for the people that she cared for. Cleo was an avid reader and instilled in her children a life long love of reading. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and made many beautiful Afghans and sweaters for her family and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great-grand children beyond measure.

Cleo was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Haley, ND, and a Past Madam President of the Eagles Club, in Riverton, WY.

She was preceded in death by a baby sister, her parents, Harold and Selma, Sisters, Letty Thompson, Myla Kalina, Annie Johnson, her brother Harold, her grandson Jason, and her husband Keith.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Dennis (Suzanne) Sabe of Rock Springs, WY; Loren Sabe of Bowman; Karen (Eddy) Heck, Rhame, ND;

And, her grandchildren: Wade (Kristen) Rieken of Bentonville, AR, Jessica and Elizabeth Klocksiem, of Rhame, ND, Step Grandsons, Dominic Heck of Bowman, Desmond (Katrina) Heck, of Rhame, ND.

And, her great grandchildren, Adam (10), Cody (8), and Brady (1) Rieken of Bentonville, AR; Ryden Heck (2 1/2), Rhame, ND, and Katelynn Miller (1), Rhame, ND.

And, her sisters, Floy Olson, Rapid City, SD, Leona Brewer, Bowman, ND, Marlene (Vernon) Peterson, Gascoyne, ND.

And, brothers-in-law, Odell Sabe of Gascoyne, ND, Norris (Rita) Sabe of Rapid City, SD and many nieces and nephews.

Krebsbach Kulseth Funeral Service of Bowman was in charge of the arrangements.
