On Oct. 29 God came and took Larry Spethman to heaven with him. He is at peace with all the family and friends that God took before him.
Larry was born on Feb. 24, 1949 to Kenneth and Gertrude Spethman in Rhame, N.D. He grew up doing horseback riding, working with cattle and doing many other things that young Cowboys grow up and enjoy doing. He also had a deep enjoyment of hunting and fishing not to mention his love of fast cars. In 1977 in Gillette, Wyo. he met Mary Eckstrom whom he married in 1980. To this union were born two children Raney Ryan and Virgil Ray. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends doing anything from playing cards to roping steers. After retiring in 2016 he was enjoying working on the place doing things he had always wanted too. He still loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and mother, two brothers and two sisters and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Larry is survived by his ex-wife Mary Spethman and his sons Raney(Tara) and Virgil Ray. His two grandchildren Kenneth Bud and Raney Larry. He has one surviving brother, Scott(Kerry) Bradac. Several nieces and nephews, one uncle and several cousins. Learn this well…the last ride is never the last ride and the end is not the end.
