Brian K. Weiler, 49

Brian K. Weiler, 49, of Dickinson, formerly of Bowman, N.D., passed away on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at his home in Dickinson. Mass of Christian burial for Brian was on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Bowman. Fr. Paul Eberle will celebrate the Mass with burial to follow in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Bowman.

There was a Rosary and Vigil Service on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church. Brian was born July 22, 1968, in Dickinson, N.D. to Adrian G Weiler and Karin Gerda Ficek Weiler. He attended grade school and high school in Dickinson, graduating in 1986. After school, he began his life of working at Ken’s Super Value, M.M. Miller Construction, and Ray’s Repair, Cyclone, 4J Well Service, Nabors Drilling and many more. Last but not least was Bob’s Oilfield Service in Belfield where he started working July 14, 2014, up until the time of his death. On June 3, 1994, Brian married Sandra J. Austin in Baker, Mont. On Oct. 2, 2017, Brian had lung surgery and three weeks later was told he was cancer free. He was so happy to go back to work on November 6 to rejoin his co-workers and friends. Brian is survived by Zachery Keith, Mandan, N.D., Josh (Hillary Caron), Mandan, N.D., PJ ( Lacey), Mont., Aliana, Mandan, N.D., Kassandra (Richard) Tolson, Bowman, N.D., Jared Weiler of Baker, Mont.; three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren Cierra, Ethan, Richard Jr., Zayden, Darrien, Jamey, Jaxon, Merie, Roman and Adilynn. Brian is also survived by his parents Adrian Weiler and Karin Weiler; brother Jerry and his wife, Lindsay; nieces and nephews Austin, Bismarck, Kevin, Bowman, Clayton, Minn., Leighton and Kenzlee, Minn.; Aunts Collette (Gary) Zimmerman, Gladys Weiler and Karen Weiler; numerous cousins; special friends, Devan Stoldorf, Sylvan Foss, Tim Morel and the love of his life Fibi Wahl; and all his fellow co-workers at Bob’s Oilfield Service. Brian was preceded in death by his two brothers, Craig Micheal and Scott Micheal; his paternal grandfather John Ficek, maternal grandparents Frank and Florentine Weiler; and uncles Kevin and Cornelius Weiler. Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Services in charge of the arrangements.
