Doerr elected to EDND board

The Economic Development Association of North Dakota (EDND) recently elected its 2017-2019 Board of Directors and officer team during its Oct. 19 Annual Membership Meeting in Williston, N.D.

Officers elected are President Ellen Huber, City of Mandan Business Development; Vice President Shawn Wenko, Williston Economic Development Corporation; Secretary/Treasurer Mark Vaux, Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation; and Past President Connie Ova, Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation.

Elected to the board of directors are Melissa Beach, Traill County Economic Development Commission; Teran Doerr, Bowman County Development Corporation; and Matt Marshall, City of West Fargo. Also recognized for his dedication to EDND was outgoing board member Keith Lund, Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation.

EDND represents more than 80 state economic development organizations on the front line of economic development efforts throughout North Dakota. The primary purpose of the organization is to promote the creation of new wealth throughout North Dakota to develop more vibrant communities and improve quality of life.
