VOICES: A Proud Moment, and a Special Thanks

Greetings to all,

I just want to take a minute and tell you how proud C.O.R.E. is to have been a part of a program that was so well received in the Bowman Community.  From our first experience to our last day their was an air of friendliness that is not often experienced in communities, there was a willingness to work together to get this program done! Many hours of training went into this event by those who planned it. Each of you have a lot to be proud of, to live in a very friendly & happy community.

I want to give a special thanks to school and staff for your support, it was AWESOME! Your help the night before and the day of was just outstanding. We always get support from schools when we go into a school, but your’s was above and beyond. The students that were there this year were also very attentive and eager to take in what was being offered, there was certainly an impact made among the students, and I say even among some adults.

From the crash scene all the way through to the sentencing hearing was very, very well orchestrated, the legal team was top notch, the way the students & adults stood around in a half moon circle, the music, the taps, and students bringing the casket in and laying flowers on the casket beside a jersey and helmet was very moving. The skit team was great the way they froze while others spoke. This all made impressions way beyond what you realize  Students lives were changed yesterday.

Mr. Senn, Cora & Chris you have done wonders for your community, far beyond just this program. The story is told by the actions, the words of students and staff and even the community. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of a wonderful community for a short time.

Please pass this word of thanks on to your staff, community and those who participated in this awesome event.

Thanks again,

Sincerely

Rick McPherson
