Professional opera singers Megan Case and her fiancé Andrew Potter were at the Bowman Theater and showed their talents to the community for an afternoon show at 4 p.m. called ‘Songs of Love, Light, and Passon.’ Case is the daughter of local area resident Melissa Case.
The duo, who travel the United States singing for crowds all around the country, performed classical Italian opera numbers. Their voices bellowed down the aisles and serenaded the room as the theater was filled with listeners and admirers of opera music. Though their forte is opera tunes, both Case and Potter also performed selections from famous shows as Kiss Me Kate and Show Boat.
The duo also performed some numbers that aren’t a part of any musical shows or plays, but that are just as popular, like the famous “Danny Boy.”
Concession were available for the attendees and the musical couple was only asking for a freewill donation to showcase their talents.
